Leadership: Favorite Quote on Persistence

July 3, 2008

“PERSISTENCE isn’t using the same tactics over and over. That’s just annoying. Persistence is having the same goal over and over.”

Seth Godin, noted author & marketing expert

This quote is from Seth’s blog.

Seth Godin is the author of Purple Cow, one of my favorite marketing books–perfect for small business. The concept: be different and get noticed.

You have a big vision and a goal. Stay true to your dream. And, be prepared to adapt. Different tactics work in changing economic times. Your ability to adapt is powerful.

I would say it is also important to adapt how you communicate your personal or brand dream as you are on the road to achieving it.
